Clay art at Sculpt Happy Studio is shaped by nature, storytelling and the quiet beauty found in the small, meaningful moments we often overlook. Many of the pieces in this collection begin with my son Archie’s wildlife photography — his patient eye capturing the softness, character and spirit of each bird long before I sculpt them in clay. These artworks honour those images, carrying forward the emotion, stillness and wonder he sees through his lens.

Much of my clay art includes poetry, affirmations or gentle, uplifting words. These aren’t added for decoration — they’re from my heart and express parts of my own journey through lived trauma, healing and rediscovering joy. The words become anchors, reminders, tiny sparks of hope woven into each sculpture. Even the pieces without text — like Mim and the other story‑led characters — hold that same intention: to offer comfort, imagination and a moment of escape, the way a beloved storybook does. Everything I create — whether it’s a sculpture, a tiny character like Mim, a piece of jewellery, a kit or a workshop — is made with love, care and empathy, with the hope that it helps others feel supported, inspired and a little less alone in their own journeys.
